The Chair of Urban and Transport Planning offers a range of courses in the following Bachelor and Master programs: Civil Engineering, Business Administration and Engineering specializing in construction, Mobility and Transport, Environmental Engineering, Applied Geography, and Economic Geography.
Courses cover a range of topics, including transport planning and technology as well as both the planning and realization of urban and regional projects. The institute furthermore provides insights into the operation of different transport systems and into the structures of public administration responsible for the operation and maintenance of infrastructure.
In order to give students an overview of all modes of transport, the chairs of transport of the Institute of Civil Engineering additionally cooperate to offer students lectures in Planning Methodology, Financing of Transport Infrastructure and Operation, and Urban, Regional and Transport Planning (UIW).
